Solar Guru 200L Split Solar Geyser – Full System Description
The Solar Guru 200L Split Solar Geyser is designed for large households or commercial use, offering a reliable and cost-effective hot water supply. In this system, the insulated 200L tank is used as the storage unit, while water is circulated through two flat-plate solar collectors during the day for maximum efficiency.
Circulation is managed by the Solar Guru Smart Controller Max, which activates only when the collectors are at least 7°C hotter than the tank. This ensures optimal performance while protecting the system against unnecessary wear. The controller also supervises the electrical element, making sure it operates only when absolutely needed.
A 12V DC pump, powered by a solar-charged battery, keeps the circulation running independently of Eskom. This guarantees uninterrupted hot water even during load shedding.
Built with SABS-approved components and backed by professional installation, the Solar Guru 200L Split Solar Geyser offers an expected service life of over 15 years — delivering both savings and sustainability.
