Solar system

The sun is a massive sphere of gasses 300 thousand times bigger than the earth. The sun is 14999982,222 degrees at its core. All the energy we use comes from the sun. Lots of energy is given off by the sun into space as heat and light which is called solar energy.  The sun is also the source for energy generated by wind, water and fossil fuels. We don’t use all the solar energy produced by the sun. People mostly rely on coal, oil and natural gasses to produce energy which is not renewable and eventually will run out.

These natural resources are polluting the planet and contributes to climate changes. On the other hand, the suns energy will not run out for the next 5 billion years. Even if we use wind and water to generate energy, it is still less than 1% of the solar energy reaching the earth! The rays of the sun let plants grow which in return become wood coal and gas. Sun rays hitting against the earths atmosphere which produces sunlight is known as solar. The potential of solar energy outshines all of its competitors. The more advance solar energy can be, the brighter our future can be.

Solar Energy

Transformation of sunlight which produces energy is called solar energy. Capturing the sun’s energy and converting it into electricity. Special materials are used such as silicon to capture solar energy using solar panels. Concentrated solar power is another way we can harness solar energy which uses mirrors to reflect sunlight to a tower. Heat captured in the tower, generate steam which flows through a steam turbine which in return, generate electricity.  Heating, drying and cooking are used with solar energy for many years. Scientists made use of solar energy to produce electricity in our modern age. The use of solar energy today is present in space shuttles, solar geysers and solar panels. Generating electricity using solar energy is much more cost effective than generating energy from coal.

Solar Photovoltaic

These are cells which includes solar photovoltaic matter which transform solar radiation from the solar rays of the sun into electricity. It is a device which transforms light energy into electrical energy. These devices are a great alternative in areas without electricity and being off the grid. The electricity generated by the solar cells are stored in powerful batteries for when it’s needed.

Solar power plants

Converting solar sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic or concentrated solar power. Solar power plants provide electricity for cities or towns.

Solar geyser and solar products

Solar energy power many modern devices. Using solar energy saves on electrical costs, strain on electrical power supplies and the environment.  A solar geyser is an excellent solar device to heat water using solar energy instead of using electricity generated by coal. The savings on heating water using solar decreases a great amount of electricity usage for every home or business. By converting to solar geysers, you can save up to 50% on your monthly bill. Solar geyser tube conversions have 90% sun absorption and it can also last for 20 years.

Solar Panels

Solar panels differ in voltages depending on your needs. Using multiple solar panels will greatly reduce the amount of voltages generated. Installation of high voltage solar panels are usually in solar power plants due to hazards it pose for homes. Solar panels include and inverter, batteries and a controller. Solar Panels are an excellent way to provide electricity for a home and eliminating electrical costs while being off the grid.
